Mr. Duboeuf calls 2009 the "vintage of a lifetime" meaning he's never seen better quality.  I agree! This wine has fantastic depth of plum fruit and a dried-leaf earthiness that makes it a great partner with roast chicken, meatloaf, pates and slow-cooked stews.
