Napa Valley
March 20, 2021 – 4pm PT/7 pm ET
The Napa Valley, where I have lived for more than a decade, is truly a special place, and not just because it is my home terroir. Its Mediterranean climate, fascinating geology and stunning wines deserve much more study than a rubber-stamp point score can communicate. We’ll taste the hidden diversity of the grapes, winemaking, AVAs and more.
$65/session
Bordeaux
April 17, 2021 – 4pm PT/7 pm ET
Cab to the left, Merlot to the right–here you are, smack in the middle of the world’s most influential red wine region. Bordeaux’s majestic red and succulent sweet wines have enjoyed global renown since the 1700s. We’ll taste why, and also discover the like-no-other dry whites that have quietly transformed our understanding of the Sauvignon Blanc grape. (Bonus points if you know the one-hit-wonder band I riffed on in the first sentence:).
