It was fun to see so many great comments on my Napa Valley wines for Thanksgiving article, and I’m ready to announce the winners of my Flavor! Napa Valley seminar tickets. They are:

Top Taster – Friday, November 21, 2-4 pm at Meritage Resort in Napa – 2 complimentary tickets go to Regina Jackson.

Power Pairings, Saturday, November 22, 10:30-11:45 am, Culinary Institute of America Greysytone in St. Helena – 2 complimentary tickets go to Timothy Wells.

You will receive an email with instructions for getting your tickets shortly.

And, since so many of you shared your ideas and enthusiasm for Napa Valley wine at Thanksgiving, I decided to give all of you who included Napa in your comments a complimentary subscription to my complete video wine course.  In addition to access to all the videos, you get 10% off anything in the store, all the time, as long as you log in to place your order. So, if you were one of scores of wine lovers who left a Napa comment on the Thanksgiving post, please watch your email for a confirmation of your subscription, which you should receive no later than early next week. I’d love your comments on the wine course videos, too! Thank you so very much for enthusiastically sharing your thoughts, and your love for my home–Napa Valley.

    Andrea,

I am a “road warrior” who routinely logs 150,000 base air miles per year and have over three-million lifetime base miles on Delta. For the last 9 years I travel, on average, 52 hours per month for business and have eaten many meals in the air. Since you have been Delta’s Sommelier, the wine choices have been excellent!! I actually took the menu from the plane two weeks ago so that I could buy three of the wines you had selected. My wife, Dayna, was amazed that we were enjoying “airplane wine” later that week.

Andrea, you have made my life inside those metal tubes so much more enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    Very best regards,

    Bob
