Happy Auction Napa Valley!

Bon Appetit’s piece on their ’10 Favorite Hotels’ in this month’s issue features two of my favorite hotels in the US, who also happen to be big fans of The ONE – Blackberry Farm and the Inn at Palmetto Bluff. I was thrilled to see these two tremendous properties get the nod from Bon Appetit, and it also got me excited for Auction Napa Valley (May 31-June 2), at which Blackberry Farm’s Chef, Joseph Lenn, a brand-new James Beard Award winner, will be cooking. I can’t believe it’s been three years since BA featured The ONE as their Smart Buy of the year (see below) – it seems we all have great taste!

Congratulations again to both Blackberry Farm and the Inn at Palmetto Bluff, and here’s to a lively and successful Auction Napa Valley weekend!  Watch for my video updates all weekend long.

    Hi Andrea,

First I would like to thank you for your really great and fun, “Andrea’s Complete Wine Course for everyone”. My husband and I purchased the DVD several years ago, but I recently watched segments again just this week and was reminded how informative and comfortable the production is and that brought me to your website. Knowing and appreciating that you are in the Napa region, I would like to ask your honest opinion of our Paso Robles wine region. Knowing that Paso Robles was just named the Wine Region of the Year, by Wine Enthusiast Magazine, I am also hoping for your input. As broadly or specific as you are willing to comment. We have lived in Templeton, (sister community to Paso Robles) for five years now and have loved being here. As a real estate broker, I am always wanting to know the most about the area I represent as possible, so your opinion would be a great and respected addition to my own knowledge base, and possibly something I can share with clients.

Thank you, Andrea, for taking the time to read this, and hopefully to reply.

    Cheers!

Janet thanks for your kind words. I am not as versed in Paso Robles as I should be but I do believe it is indeed on the rise making noteworthy wines. Lucky you to be there and all the best!
