Blackberry Farm is a food and wine lover’s Eden. When you just think about what’s there–award-winning dining, 110,00-bottle wine cellar (and great wine list prices), on-site cheese-making, extensive gardens that stock the larder year-round, and their own truffle orchard and resident truffle dogs, you want to move in and never leave. You don’t have to be a foodie to love it, though. The world-class spa, fly-fishing, skeet shooting, hiking and myriad other activities offer something for everyone. As you might imagine, I was thrilled when Sommelier and Food & Beverage Director Andy Chabot became a fan of The ONE stemware and began using them for their signature wine events. They’ve been a great partner for over five years now. Check out my video for a little taste of being there–you’ll be booking a Tennessee Smoky Mountains getaway before you know it!
We love Andrea’s The ONE stems and use them all the time for our special wine events and tastings.
AOC, under the direction of Caroline Styne and Chef Suzanne Goin, was one of the original farm-to-table restaurants in LA, and remains one of the best. John and I profiled the experience, including an amazing wine by the glass selection, in our show Local Flavor. Watch this video clip and you will be in a big hurry to book a table. As the Beverage Director, Caroline was looking for the right glass to showcase the diverse and ingenious wines she offers by the glass, and fell in love with The ONE. Before choosing it, the staff spent several months tasting dozens of different wines, and became convinced of the performance. Caroline also told me they loved the durability so much that were switching to The ONE for all of their restaurants including Tavern (multiple locations) and Lucques. I could not be prouder.
