Rosemount Diamond Label Pinot Noir, South Eastern Australia
Quite a bit of complexity for the money, with sweet balsamic and cured meat notes along with pomegranate flavors. A nice match for pates and soft cheeses.

The 2008 sustains this wine's track record as a value star. A hint of smoke and orange peel in the scent and a light-as-a-feather strawberry-rhubarb palate make this a great partner for delicate dishes such as herb-sauteed sole or trout, or avocado and crab salad.
A perennial NZ SB value, with all the classic character: cut grass, gooseberry, grapefruit and passion fruit and a flinty finish. Bring on the guacamole!
Corton "Charlie" is the model for all great barrel-aged Chards. The rich scent of baking fruit tarts and deep core of apple-quince compote echo in the palate and the long, spicy finish. A great ager, and a superb match for roast quail with root vegetables and mushrooms.
As always, a value star, with crisp green apple and fresh peach flavors. Pair with ceviche or green salads.
You get so much tropical fruit, ginger and tangerine character for the money, why not splurge and partner it with fresh crab or peel 'n' eat shrimp?
At once lively and creamy, this is a yummy yin-yang of citrus and white peach that's delicious on its own but also a great partner for salads and smoked salmon.
Always a fruit salad-in-a-glass crowd-pleaser, lush with kiwi and ripe apple fruit, kissed with a snap of citrus acidity. Great value, great match for Tex Mex!
When luscious tropical meets lively citrus, you have CA SB at its best, as in this bottling, which makes me crave BBQ'd oysters or a garlicky fish chowder.
This Champagne Maison won't be flying under the radar much longer. Our passengers on Delta loved it, and for good reason. It is sumptuous and toasty, with a fine creamy bubble and concentrated baked apple flavors.
