Happy Auction Napa Valley 2018!

It is a big week on my home turf, gearing up for Auction Napa Valley 2018. This community effort led by the Napa Valley Vintners raises money for local community health care and education–$180 million since the first auction in 1981! I am so proud to be part of a community that leverages our globally famous wines to take care of our own right here. This year’s auction chairs, the 4th generation Mondavi sisters Angelina, Riana, Alycia and Gigi have ushered in the new generation of Napa Valley Vintners taking charge of this extraordinary event. I got the chance to interview them on Facebook live, to talk about what the auction means to our community and the world of wine, and what’s in store for the weekend. Auction Napa Valley e-auction all week– The big live lots go for big bucks to the major wine collectors, but in the e-Auction, there’s something for everyone, so get in on it now!
